The Hang Seng Index opened 114 points higher at 16,701 points and then gradually expanded its gains. It once rose 567 points to 17,154 points in the afternoon, and closed at 17,093 points for the whole day, up 505 points or 3.05%, rising for three consecutive trading days; the technology index closed at 3,643 points, up 161 points or 4.64%. Main board turnover increased to HK$149.9 billion, the most since September last year. 


The technical trend of Hong Kong stocks has improved since March. The Hang Seng Index first fell and then rose. It closed slightly above the 17,000 point mark yesterday. Although it was blocked by the 150-DMA (17,146), it stood on all moving averages such as 10, 20, 50 and 100 days above, the market outlook may not be too bleak. In fact, the Hang Seng Index fell for 52 weeks from 22,700 points on January 27 last year to a low of 14,794 points on January 22 this year, a drop of 7,906 points. If it rebounds from the drop of fibo 0.328, the target is 17,387 points. If the market's trading volume cooperates, there is a chance to further push the market higher, but the resistance at 18,000 points is very strong. 


European stock markets performed well, with British, French and German stock markets rising 1.02%, 0.84% and 1.23% respectively. 


The U.S. Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose 3.2% year-on-year in February, higher than expected, but it did not change the market's view on the Federal Reserve's interest rate cut this year. U.S. stocks rose on Tuesday, with the Dow opening 113 points higher, and the increase expanded to 301 points at most. , reported 39,071 points; the S&P 100 once rose 1.21%, and the Nasdaq once rose 1.6%. 


At the close of U.S. stocks, the Dow rose 235 points or 0.61% to 39,005 points; the S&P 500 rose 57 points or 1.12% to 5,175 points, a record closing high; the Nasdaq rose 246 points or 1.54% to 16,265 points. 


The U.S. dollar index rose 0.3% to 103.18 repeatedly; the yen once fell 0.8%, hitting a low of 148.12 per dollar. The Euro fell as much as 0.22% to $1.0902 before stabilizing.

It closed the day up 62 points, or 0.24%, at 25,978; the Tech Index rose 36 points, or 0.75%, to 4,902. Total market turnover was HK$236.7 billion. For the week, the Hang Seng Index fell 182 points, or 0.69%. Hong Kong stocks rebounded on Friday but failed to recover the 26,000-point mark. The Hang Seng Index broke through the descending channel earlier this month with an upward gap (25,254 to 25,668).
